Amnesty International is a global organization that has been campaigning for human rights since 1961. They have maintained a presence at Elon for the last three years, focusing on issues ranging from the death penalty to censorship.Aligning with the organization's goals, members strive to educate students and members of the community through stations at Mosely Center, and encourage participation via campus wide events such as photo exhibits and candle-light vigils.
The Elon chapter meets every Wednesday at 8 pm in Belk 206.
